We Perform Routine Audits.
Routine audits are run on the websites using Google’s open-source, automated tool for improving the quality of web pages called “Lighthouse”. It provides detailed audits of a website’s accessibility using WCAG 2.1 (A), WCAG 2.0 (A) guidelines and provides a report with suggestions for improvement in the form of a scorecard. Suggested improvements are then made by ADA specialists to assure our website is operating at optimal accessibility.
Here are some of the accessibility features of our website:
- Color contrast: The website has been designed with high color contrast to make text and images easier to read.
- Alternative text: All images on our website have alternative text descriptions to provide a meaningful description of the image for those using screen readers.
- Visible focus appearance: Links and buttons when receiving tab focus display a border with sufficient contrast to indicate which intractable users are currently on.
